Who is ERH Consult?

ERH Consult is the independent consultancy of Etienne Herlaar, MBA, an interim manager in risk management, compliance and finance with 35+ years of international experience. He works for organisations in Belgium and the Netherlands.

 

Can you help us with risk management?

Yes. I set up and improve enterprise risk management (ERM) using ISO 31000 and COSO, define risk appetite with the board, run risk assessments, harmonise risk methodologies and build risk reporting for management and the audit committee.

 

Can you start as interim risk or compliance manager at short notice?

Yes. Interim assignments can usually start within one to two weeks, full-time or part-time.

 

Do you help with SAP GRC Access Control and Segregation of Duties?

Yes. I analyse SoD conflicts, review rule sets, design mitigating controls and build SoD reporting across legal entities.

 

Can you help us comply with DORA or NIS2?

Yes. I run gap analyses, set up ICT risk and third-party risk processes, and implement controls that auditors and supervisors can test.

 

Do you support CSRD reporting?

I focus on internal control over sustainability data, so your CSRD reporting is reliable and ready for assurance.

 

Are you a technical SAP consultant?

No. I have broad SAP knowledge beyond FI/CO and guide implementations from the business, risk and control side. For technical work I involve specialists from my network.

 

In which countries and languages do you work?

Belgium and the Netherlands, in Dutch and English.
